Owner Operated Trades of America is a directory of independent plumbers, electricians, and HVAC shops. This page is about what we collect and why.

Listings

Shop pages show the business name, trade, city, ZIP, website, about text, hours, and Google reviews or photos when we have them. Phone numbers stay hidden until someone taps Show number. We do not publish street addresses.

Forms

If you contact us, request a listing, ask to edit a listing, or request Concierge Booking, we keep the name, email, phone, and message you send so we can reply and run the directory. We do not sell that information.

Google

Some reviews, ratings, hours, and photos come from Google. Google’s own terms and privacy policy apply to that data.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to see which pages people open — homepage, searches, trade pages, and shop listings. Google may set cookies and collect a truncated IP, device type, and general location so we can run the site. We do not use Analytics to sell your information. Opt out with Google’s browser add-on.

We use the Meta Pixel to measure ads on Facebook and Instagram. That can include pages you open, searches, taps on Show number, and forms you send. Meta uses that to show and measure ads. You can control ads in your Meta account settings.
